Kbox-MDA-M-XYE is a KNX gateway that connects to the XYE and CN40 ports of Midea Multi air conditioning systems.
With Kbox-MDA-M-XYE, all main functions of Midea Multi indoor units can be controlled directly through the KNX system. Functions such as on/off control, operation mode, fan speed, temperature setting, and status feedback are transmitted to the KNX network and can be managed via KNX controllers or panels.
A key feature of Kbox-MDA-M-XYE is its bidirectional ambient temperature support. The ambient temperature value received from the KNX system is transmitted to the air conditioning unit, while temperature data from the air conditioning system is also made available in the KNX network. This enables more precise and comfortable temperature control.
The gateway enables real-time data exchange between the KNX system and the Midea indoor unit. Commands sent from KNX panels, automation scenarios, or central control software are delivered directly to the air conditioning system.
