Kbox-DKN-M-S21 is a KNX gateway that connects to the S21 port of Daikin Multi air conditioning systems.
With Kbox-DKN-M-S21, all main functions of Daikin Multi indoor units can be controlled directly through the KNX system. Functions such as on/off control, operation mode, fan speed, temperature setting, vane position control, and status feedback are transmitted to the KNX network and can be managed via KNX controllers or panels. It also provides 3 digital inputs that can be integrated into the KNX bus.
The gateway enables real-time data exchange between the KNX system and the Daikin indoor unit. The indoor ambient temperature measured by the room thermostat is transmitted to the air conditioner, while commands sent from KNX panels, automation scenarios, or central control software are delivered directly to the air conditioning system.
Kbox-DKN-M-S21 integrates with building automation scenarios to support functions such as energy saving, temperature limitation, scheduling, and automation. This allows the air conditioning system to operate in coordination with the building automation system and improves overall energy efficiency.
During installation, Kbox-DKN-M-S21 can be mounted inside the AC indoor unit, with one side directly connected to the S21 port of the indoor unit and the other side connected directly to the KNX data bus. It is compatible with all Daikin multi indoor unit models that have an S21 port.
